The internet is a vast resource for the new entrepreneur. There’s lots of quality information. But there are also lots of scams. In this brief guide we will show you what to look out for when shopping for an opportunity.

• Does promise that no work is involved?. Making money takes work. There is always going to be time and effort involved. If the opportunity promises enormous amounts of money for little or no work, it’s a scam.
• Does it promise to overturn the laws of probability? You can’t beat the odds. If the opportunity promises a way to turn the odds on their head, it’s very likely to be a scam.
• Does it promise vast, vast sums of money? If the opportunity shows checks of absolutely incredible amounts of money then it’s very likely to be a scam.
