Gamer Testing Ground makes big claims - “make $120 an hour playing video games from your home”. It encourages you to imagine a life where all you have to do is sit around all day, playing games. well, from the guide to spotting scams we know that what seems to good to be true, usually is - so let’s proceed with caution.
From digging a bit deeper, it seems that this membership site provides you with a guide and resources to go about getting a job as a games tester. It doesn’t hand everything to you on a platter. It’s not straight out easy money. You will actually have to get out there, and get those jobs, which will require effort on your part.
That being said, if you have a passion for video games and the dedication to succeed, then membership to Gamer Testing Ground will certainly be useful for you. Overall then, we’ll give it a neutral rating of 3. The opportunity is there, but requires work.
